Brainstorming Session of Ideas to Help Manufacturers Survive Domestically

What is Missing? 

We asked the suppliers the following questions:

• Help us fill in the gaps
• What can YOUR company do to help the industry?
• Are you willing to participate in Supply Chain Management?
• Have we hit the “Target”?
• What do we need to add?
• What should our timetable be?
• What else?

These were ideas that were shared by the group at the meeting.

1. Go to Furniture Supply Chain Meeting to gain information from that group
2. Get partnerships with other groups and organizations for Legsource – WWD, others
3. Advertise fashion and quality from the mills on the Consumer page of Legsource. Enhance Consumer page.
4. Generate Techlist like AATCC
5. Put glossary of fibers and attributes on Legsource. (other Hosiery 101 info?)
6. Implement “Push Technology” ASAP
7. Get more email addresses for the “right” people
8. Educate the manufacturers about Legsource- Market to the Top
9. Design and provide LEGSOURCE sticker for the suppliers to attach to invoices and other materials that are mailed
10. Article in industry magazines
11. Provide regulatory issues on Legsource
12. Develop standards like the European OKO-TEX standard
